BLAST names IC Official Online Trading Partner

BLAST named IC its Official Online Trading Partner for BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam; IC will present BLAST Higher Lower and debut at BLAST Premier Bounty in Malta, July 21–Aug 3.

BLAST has signed a multi-year agreement naming IC as the Official Online Trading Partner for BLAST Premier, the company’s Counter-Strike 2 tournament series, and BLAST Slam, its Dota 2 series. IC Trading is an online CFD and Forex broker that provides a multi-asset trading platform for retail and institutional clients.

Under the agreement, IC branding will appear across live broadcasts and at arena events. IC will present the BLAST Higher Lower segment on BLAST.tv and will make its first event appearance at BLAST Premier Bounty in Malta from July 21 to August 3.

BLAST described BLAST Higher Lower as a segment in which contestants estimate the value of in-game Counter-Strike 2 items, known as skins, and said the format connects to value comparison and quick decision-making found in online trading. IC will run on-site activations at selected arena events and back original content and fan competitions tied to BLAST.tv programming.

BLAST Premier Bounty will start the second Counter-Strike competitive season of 2026. The Malta event features 32 teams that select opponents during the tournament and carries a $1,150,000 prize pool.

James Brown, BLAST’s commercial director, called IC “exactly the type of ambitious global brand” and added the company will be present across broadcast, arena experience, content and fan engagement on BLAST.tv.

Tony Philip, IC’s chief marketing officer, commented that the partnership reflects the firm’s focus on “technology, precision and performance” and provides a route to reach digitally native audiences.

BLAST reported a 40% increase in 2025 revenue to more than $133 million and opened a new headquarters in New York. The company has also partnered with Circuit X to manage North American regional qualifiers for BLAST Porto.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. BLAST confirmed the sponsorship will be visible across its 2026 event schedule and broadcast slate, beginning with the Malta event later this month.
