BLAST Bounty Stage 2 has begun its live draft as the eight lowest-seeded teams select opponents for qualification matches. Ninjas in Pyjamas were the first team to make a selection. The winners of eight online matches across Saturday and Sunday will earn spots at the LAN finals in Malta.
Stage 2 follows Stage 1, where several higher-profile teams were eliminated. Falcons, Vitality, FURIA and Aurora failed to advance from the opening stage and will not take part in the next round.
Under the draft format, the eight lowest seeds choose opponents in turn to form the Stage 2 bracket. Organizers will finalise the bracket once all selections are complete. The qualification matches are single-elimination and will be played online over the scheduled weekend.
The eight winning teams from Stage 2 will join the other qualified competitors at the in-person finals in Malta. Organizers will confirm match times and pairings after the live draft concludes.
