Black Molly Buys Frame, Forms BME Group
Black Molly Entertainment has acquired Frame Gaming AB and folded it into a new holding, BME Group, taking full ownership via a share swap and combining production, agency and owned IP.
Black Molly Entertainment has acquired Frame Gaming AB and combined the two businesses under a new holding called BME Group. Frame’s owners received shares in Black Molly Entertainment AB in exchange for their stake; once the transaction closes BME will hold 100% of Frame. The firms will continue to run separately day to day for now but will operate with a joint management group and plan to align their sales teams over time.
The new BME Group will offer three commercial areas: Production, Agency services and Owned IP and formats. Production covers media, event and tournament production for esports clients, which is Black Molly’s original business. Agency services reflect Frame’s work on strategy, concepts and marketing campaigns. The Owned IP and formats unit will include in-house properties such as the LAN event Glitched, the Counter-Strike tournament Journey, the online channel Esportstudion and the Red Bull GIBAWAY gaming event.
The companies reported combined revenue of more than SEK 50 million in 2025. The group aims to increase revenue to SEK 100 million within a few years. Tomas Lyckedal, chairman of Black Molly Entertainment AB, stated: ‘By joining forces, we create a company that can better offer customers comprehensive solutions within gaming and esports. We gain a stronger network of owners, more stable revenues, and greater opportunities to develop our own products and formats. The goal is clear: we are growing organically and aim to reach 100 MSEK within a few years.’
John Uggla, CEO of Frame Gaming AB and a member of the joint management team, called the transaction a natural progression after four years of close collaboration and added: ‘Together, we become a more stable company with a more complete offering, from strategy and creative campaigns to high-quality production and proprietary formats. We significantly strengthen our position and can offer customers a total solution that no other player in Sweden matches today.’
Black Molly was founded in 2013 and has produced broadcasts, events and tournaments for esports organisations and brands, including Ninjas in Pyjamas, Dignitas, ASUS ROG and Red Bull, which became a partner across BME’s event portfolio earlier in 2026. Frame was founded in September 2021 by John Uggla together with Black Molly and has delivered agency work for clients inside and outside gaming, including Länsförsäkringar, JBL and H&M.
Management said the integration is designed to provide clients with end-to-end services from creative concept through execution and distribution while preserving specialised operations during the initial transition period. The combined structure brings live production, agency strategy and owned event and broadcast formats under one holding.
