BIG names crypto casino Razed main partner for CS2 team
Berlin International Gaming has named crypto casino Razed as main partner for its Counter-Strike 2 team; Razed will appear on jerseys and support BIG CLUB on FACEIT.
Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has appointed crypto casino Razed as the main partner for its Counter-Strike 2 team. The organisation said the agreement is a long-term collaboration covering jersey placement, digital content and community activations.
Razed branding will appear on the front of BIG’s official CS2 jerseys. Financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed. The partnership will run alongside the team’s competitive calendar and community programming.
Razed will support BIG CLUB, BIG’s CS2 community hub on FACEIT, which the organisation estimates has more than 130,000 members. The sponsorship will use that community to stage events and formats tied to the team and individual players, and to deliver digital content beyond match coverage.
The deal includes joint community initiatives and player-focused content designed to highlight player personalities outside competitive play. BIG presented the partnership as part of its wider commercial development after adding Paysafe and PaysafeCard earlier this year as a premium sponsor and official payment partner across its CS2, Fortnite and Trackmania rosters.
Daniel Finkler, chief executive of BIG, described the agreement as “a strong sign of trust in our organisation and our vision” and said the organisations will work together to “leverage our international reach and create formats that truly excite the community.” Ethan Johnson, head of esports at Razed, called BIG “one Europe’s most well-known esports organisations” and said Razed intends to show it is “serious about esports and here to stay.”
