ASUS ROG renews EPIC.LAN sponsorship for CS2

ASUS Republic of Gamers UK has renewed a 12-month partnership with EPIC.LAN, taking effect at EPIC48 from July 16–19, 2026, at Kettering Leisure Village. ROG will be the headline sponsor for EPIC.LAN’s Counter-Strike 2 tournament and will provide funding to expand prize pools and introduce MVP awards.

The agreement marks the third consecutive year of collaboration between ROG and EPIC.LAN and covers events through mid-2027. The deal includes support for competitive matches and on-site activities at multiple LAN events over the next 12 months.

ROG plans to operate experiential zones at EPIC.LAN’s two larger events scheduled for October 2026 and February 2027. Those zones will feature components, monitors and peripherals, and host community activations that allow attendees to test hardware and interact with the brand in person.

EPIC.LAN’s CS2 tournament is one of the largest Bring Your Own Computer Counter-Strike events globally and serves as a development route for regional teams competing in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS). The ROG funding will be applied to increase competitive prize money and to introduce dedicated tournament MVP awards.

Intel will also supply hardware at EPIC48 after renewing a separate headline partnership for the remainder of 2026. Organisers say Intel systems will support competition infrastructure and live consumer demonstrations at the event.

Jon Winkle, Managing Director of EPIC.LAN, called the multi-event commitment ‘a key part of our community LAN events for the next 12 months’ and added ASUS will help raise standards for the Counter-Strike 2 ecosystem. Grace Avey, ASUS Gaming & Consumer Marketing Lead, noted the partnership aims to supply regional players with tournament-ready hardware during high-stakes moments.

EPIC.LAN runs a network of grassroots BYOC events across the UK that combine local esports competitions and public exhibition space. The renewed ROG partnership will provide financial backing for tournaments and hardware for live demonstrations during the agreement period.
