Alter Ego Leads Q1 2026 Esports Viewership

Alter Ego topped Q1 2026 esports with 55.36 million hours watched; MLBB’s M7 World Championship and Counter‑Strike 2 events drove viewership across platforms and regions.

Alter Ego led esports viewership in Q1 2026 with 55.36 million hours watched, based on total live watch time across tournaments, matches and streaming platforms for January through March. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Counter‑Strike 2 were the primary drivers of audience totals in the quarter.

Most of Alter Ego’s hours came from the M7 World Championship, where the Indonesian team advanced to the final after a long lower‑bracket run and finished as runner‑up to Aurora Gaming PH. Aurora recorded 33.54 million hours watched and ranked second for the quarter. Selangor Red Giants logged 31.43 million hours and placed third.

Five Mobile Legends organizations appeared among the top viewership slots. Team Liquid PH and ONIC Esports each posted between 27 million and 30 million hours. ONIC averaged about 1.88 million viewers across nine matches, seven of which were at the M7 event.

Counter‑Strike 2 contributed four teams to the top list. Brazilian side FURIA had 29.54 million hours after playing 25 matches and reaching podiums at BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 and IEM Kraków 2026. Team Vitality amassed 23.53 million hours. PARIVISION and Natus Vincere were included on the leaderboard, with high match counts of 27 and 23 during the quarter.

G2 Esports was the only League of Legends organization in the top group, recording 19.65 million hours across 20 matches; the club won LEC 2026 Versus and finished second at First Stand 2026.

The Q1 ranking aggregates live hours across console, PC and mobile titles and includes tournament broadcasts and co‑streams for the period January through March 2026. Large single events such as the M7 World Championship contributed heavily to quarterly totals and concentrated watch time for teams that reached the late stages of those tournaments.
