Valve May VRS allocates invites for DraculaN S7, XSE S26 - news.white.market

Valve’s May Regional Standings will award 14 global invites to DraculaN Season 7 (June 23–28) and 16 to the $1,000,000 XSE Pro League S26 (June 29–July 12).

Valve published its May Valve Regional Standings (VRS) update on May 4. The update will determine which teams receive direct entries to two summer events: 14 global main-event spots for DraculaN Season 7, organized by Digital Crusade, and 16 global main-event spots for XSE Pro League S26. The XSE event carries a $1,000,000 prize pool.

Digital Crusade recently announced a prize-pool expansion for DraculaN Season 7. Both tournaments are scheduled during the player break window: DraculaN S7 will run June 23–28 and XSE Pro League S26 will run June 29–July 12. Tournament organizers will use the May VRS list to issue main-draw invitations to teams worldwide.

The May standings publish a top-30 ranking and show a regional distribution of those slots: 23 teams from Europe, six from the Americas and one from Asia. Valve’s regional points totals in the update will determine which squads are eligible for the global invite allocations assigned by each organizer.

Invites allotted from the VRS go directly into tournament main events, reducing the number of open-qualifier berths. Digital Crusade and XSE will confirm invited teams based on the May ranking; remaining spots in each main draw are expected to be filled through qualifiers and regional events run by the respective organizers.

Valve’s VRS continues to provide a uniform list of teams and point totals that independent organizers can use to grant global or regional slots. Organizers have not yet released full lists of invited rosters; final invitations are expected in the weeks leading up to each event.
