VALORANT has passed 100 million registered accounts on PC in China, more than three years after its July 12, 2023, launch in the country. The total covers cumulative registrations on Chinese PC servers. It excludes VALORANT Mobile and does not show how many people currently play the game.

Riot Games announced the milestone through VALORANT’s official Chinese channels on Tuesday, October 27. Tencent manages the game’s operations in China following its release there after the global launch in June 2020.

Riot Games and Tencent are running a rewards campaign on Chinese PC servers from October 27 through November 27, 2026. Players who log into the Chinese PC version can receive a themed player card, an emblem, stickers and an Agent Token. Additional rewards are available through VALORANT’s official companion app in China.

Executives involved in the game’s local operations reported that 55% of new Chinese VALORANT players had never played a PC game before. The figure refers to new players in China and is separate from the total number of registered accounts.

VALORANT Mobile reached a separate milestone in China in July 2026. Released for Android and iOS on August 19, 2025, the mobile game passed 100 million registered users before its first anniversary. It had more than 70 million pre-registrations before launch and exceeded 10 million daily active players in China in May 2026.

Riot Games developed VALORANT Mobile with LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS. The game has no official international release date. In China, its Trickster Invasion Halloween mode is scheduled to run from October 29 through November 11. The mode allows eliminated players to return as ghosts.
