True Damage to Perform Worlds 2026 Anthem in New York

Riot Games confirmed that virtual hip-hop collective True Damage will reunite to perform the Worlds 2026 anthem “Know My Name” live at the Grand Finals Opening Ceremony on Nov. 14 at Barclays Center in New York. Riot also plans to release the song and its official video on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. PT.

Riot described the track as centered on ambition and the drive to reach the top, saying it blends raw grit, global culture and an evolved hip-hop sound to reflect players’ diverse journeys to the Worlds stage.

True Damage is composed of League of Legends characters Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna and Yasuo. For the 2026 live performance Riot confirmed four real-world performers: SOYEON of (G)I-DLE will portray Akali, Coco Jones will perform as Senna, Vic Mensa will take on Ekko, and Sofía Reyes will appear as Qiyana. Riot did not announce a live performer for Yasuo.

The anthem and music video will premiere on the official League of Legends YouTube channel and the track will be available for pre-save on major streaming services. The Oct. 8 release is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT, corresponding to 9 p.m. ET, 3 a.m. CEST and 10 a.m. KST the following day.

Worlds 2026 opens with the Play-In Stage on Oct. 15 in Los Angeles and concludes with the Grand Finals in New York on Nov. 14. The Opening Ceremony on Nov. 14 is presented by Mastercard. Riot has not released the full setlist or additional production details for the ceremony.

True Damage debuted in 2019 with the single “GIANTS,” which has since surpassed 230 million views across platforms. Riot noted the 2019 performance drew attention for combining virtual characters with live artists; the 2026 show will again mix virtual and real-world elements.

Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games, described True Damage as a group that brings together distinct voices, styles and cultures. She added the group’s spirit aligns with Worlds, where top teams and players from around the globe compete to make their mark.
