SINNERS reverse-sweep Gentle Mates to win LORGAR Season 1

SINNERS came from behind to beat Gentle Mates 2-1 in the LORGAR RANKINGS Season 1 final in Barcelona on April 26, 2026, and claimed the $50,000 LAN title. The Czech side lost the opening map before winning the next two to complete the comeback.

The eight-team, single-elimination event opened with Gentle Mates taking Inferno 19-17. Gentle Mates overturned an early 11-3 deficit and closed out the map after SINNERS were unable to convert rounds on the attacking half. SINNERS then won Mirage 13-11 after rallying from 2-7 and later 6-10. The decider on Nuke saw SINNERS build early advantages in both halves and secure the series.

SINNERS reached the final after 2-0 wins over Inner Circle Academy and KOLESIE. Gentle Mates advanced by defeating ASTRAL and 9INE. KOLESIE had earlier upset Urban Riga Open Season 3 champions FOKUS in the quarter-finals.

Individual statistics showed balanced contributions for SINNERS. Sebastian “beastik” Daňo recorded an 82.8 ADR and a 1.13 Rating3.0. Max “SHOCK” Kvapil posted a 61.3 ADR and a 1.10 Rating3.0, while Mădălin-Andrei “MoDo” Mirea had a 67.3 ADR and a 1.05 Rating3.0. For Gentle Mates, Antonio “MartinezSa” Martinez led with a 76.0 ADR and a 1.10 Rating3.0. Alejandro “alex” Masanet and David “dav1g” Granado Bermudo contributed positive ratings and consistent round involvement.

SINNERS secured a Stage 1 spot at the IEM Cologne Major after a sequence of LAN results before the April 6 cutoff, including a third-place finish at the Parken Challenger Championship Season 1, a quarter-final appearance at Roman Imperium Cup VII, and a title at the BC Game Masters Championship. The BC Game Masters win was the organization’s second LAN title outside Czechia, with the previous such win nearly six years earlier.

Gentle Mates finished the event as runners-up after beating established opponents to reach the final. The LORGAR RANKINGS Season 1 title adds to SINNERS’ list of recent LAN results ahead of the Major.
