PARIVISION beat Liquid to reach IEM Beijing playoffs

PARIVISION secured a playoff place at IEM Beijing with a victory over Liquid in Group B. The result followed their opening win over G2. Their next match will be against the winner of MOUZ versus BETBOOM in the upper final.

A win in the upper final would send PARIVISION directly to the playoff semi-finals. A loss would place them in the quarter-finals.

PARIVISION took a 7-2 lead on Ancient, but Liquid cut the deficit to 5-7 by halftime. PARIVISION then won the first five rounds after the side switch and closed out the map before Liquid could recover.

Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev led PARIVISION with 36 kills and a 1.48 rating. Dzhami “Jame” Ali and Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov each recorded 28 kills, with ratings of 1.18 and 1.02, respectively.

Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski led Liquid with 23 kills. Keith “NAF” Markovic had 22 kills and a 1.04 rating. Georgi “Jorko” Mitev, Johnny “JT” Theodosiou and Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa each finished below a 0.90 rating.

Liquid remain in the Group B lower bracket after their opening win over Aurora. They need two consecutive victories to reach the playoffs.
