MIBR defeated PARIVISION 2-0 at the China Asia Championship in Shanghai, securing the first playoff berth at the event. PARIVISION won two terror-side rounds across both maps.

The match took place at CAC in Shanghai. MIBR controlled both maps, limiting PARIVISION to just two T-side rounds out of 19 and preventing a comeback for the second-highest seeded team at the event.

Felipe ‘insani’ Yuji led MIBR with a 38-23 series line, an 113.0 average damage per round and a 83.3% KAST. He recorded 20 kills in the first 10 rounds on Ancient and won seven opening duels in the opening half. Klimentii ‘kl1m’ Krivosheev added 32-15 and Carlos ‘venomzera’ Eduardo posted 31-23 as part of a balanced performance for MIBR.

PARIVISION opened the tournament with a win over Liquid but struggled against MIBR. The team is 2-6 on Mirage over its last eight matches, with those two wins coming against Wildcard in a multi-overtime match and Fisher College. Emil ‘nota’ Moskvitin finished 15-32 with a 0.55 rating and Vladislav ‘xiELO’ Lysov ended 13-32 with a 0.47 rating. Andrey ‘BELCHONOKK’ Yasinskiy posted 29-29 and a 1.12 rating.

MIBR had been out of competition since PGL Bucharest in early April and used the break to prepare for CAC and the upcoming Major. The Shanghai result guarantees MIBR a place in the CAC knockout stage.

The tournament will move into its knockout phase with MIBR already qualified for the playoffs. PARIVISION remains in the group stage and will play further matches as the event continues.
