League of Legends patch 26.13 nerfs Senna, removes Shiv-Q

League of Legends patch 26.13 nerfs Senna, removes Shiv-Q - news.white.market

Patch 26.13 lands June 24, stripping Senna’s Statikk Shiv-Q cooldown interaction, cutting self-kill soul drops to 5%, and easing her crit damage, alongside broader item and champion updates.

On June 24, Riot Games releases patch 26.13 to League of Legends live servers, headlined by nerfs to Senna. The update removes the Statikk Shiv on-hit interaction that reduced the cooldown of her Piercing Darkness (Q) and cuts the soul drop chance from minions and monsters she personally kills to 5% from 10%.

To keep her support play pattern, souls from minions she does not last-hit will spawn at 32%, up from 28%. Riot is also lowering her critical strike damage ratio. Doran’s Helm receives stat changes that affect how her Q healing works with bonus resistances.

The balance team targeted synergies that emerged in Season 2, including Statikk Shiv on-hit and gains from Doran’s Helm and the Jack of All Trades rune. Absolution, Senna’s passive, remains central to her kit, with drop rates adjusted based on whether she last-hits.

In a post on X, Lead Gameplay Designer Matt Leung-Harrison wrote: “Senna is the big winner of the Season 2 changes,” pointing to her interactions with Doran’s Helm and Jack of All Trades. He added: “She synergizes well with Statikk Shiv on-hit, and we’ve made the decision to not support this interaction (Q CD reduction on-hit), even though it is pretty cool.”

Outside Senna, patch 26.13 makes balance passes to broaden the champion pool. Aphelios, Kindred, LeBlanc and Qiyana receive buffs. Bard’s Meep damage is lowered, while Brand, Cassiopeia and Rek’Sai receive nerfs.

Item updates extend beyond Doran’s Helm. Imperial Mandate’s flat ability power is reduced, it grants more Ability Haste on immobilizing abilities, and targets marked as vulnerable take an extra 1% damage.

Patch 26.13 begins rolling out globally on June 24. Earlier, Riot Games also confirmed Locke, League of Legends’ 173rd champion, set for June 24, 2026 with Patch 26.13 as the year’s only new champion.
