Krafton Announces BMPS 2026: 64 Teams, ₹2 Crore Prize
Krafton will stage BMPS 2026 from May 6, featuring 64 invited BGMI teams competing for more than ₹2 crore and a direct berth to the Esports World Cup 2026.
Krafton India Esports announced Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2026 on April 23. The tournament begins May 6 with 64 invited BGMI teams, a prize pool exceeding ₹2 crore and a direct qualification spot for the Esports World Cup 2026.
The competition will run across five rounds. Teams must post consistent results at each stage to advance; a single poor showing can end a squad’s run. Organizers reduced the invited field from 96 teams in previous seasons to 64 for 2026.
Matches will start online on May 6 and move to offline play for later stages. Organizers have indicated the semi finals may take place in Delhi from June 9 to June 14, with the grand finals likely in Jaipur from June 19 to June 21. If confirmed, those rounds are expected to be LAN events with a live audience.
The BMPS winner will earn a direct spot at the Esports World Cup 2026. India has received a second slot for the global tournament, and the runner-up from BMPS is expected to claim that place. The Esports World Cup, also called the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026, is scheduled for August 6–16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will feature 32 teams from regions including Southeast Asia, MENA, Europe and the Americas.
Krafton’s schedule covers several weeks to accommodate online qualifiers, knockout phases and the offline semi finals and finals. With a prize pool above ₹2 crore, BMPS 2026 ranks among the largest BGMI tournament purses in India by value.
