Karmine Corp rebuilds after Paris Major-winning roster exits

Karmine Corp have parted ways with Axel “Vatira” Touret, Tristan “Atow” Soyez and Charles “juicy” Sabiani after the trio won the 2026 RLCS Paris Major. The organization has not announced its replacement roster.

The departures end the lineup that represented Karmine Corp throughout the 2026 season. The team won RLCS Kick-Off Weekend and the Paris Major before reaching the World Championship semifinals in September. Team Falcons defeated Karmine Corp 4-2 on Sept. 20, leaving the club joint third-fourth with FUT Esports.

Multiple sources report that Karmine Corp intend to sign two-time world champion Evan “M0nkey M00n” Rogez, Hungarian player Attila “bibbaba” Eötvös and French player reyyn. Both bibbaba and reyyn were reported to be 16 during negotiations.

M0nkey M00n would return to European competition after spending the 2026 season with Twisted Minds in the Middle East and North Africa region. Twisted Minds reached the Paris Major final in May, where Karmine Corp won 4-1. M0nkey M00n won the RLCS World Championship with Team BDS in 2022 and 2024 and reached the final in 2023.

Bibbaba reached the top six of the European Last Chance Qualifier for the 2026 World Championship. Reyyn has mainly competed in 1v1 tournaments. A move to Karmine Corp would place him in a roster preparing for the next international 3v3 season.

Alexandre “Extra” Paoli is expected to remain Karmine Corp’s head coach, although his continuation has not been confirmed. Extra previously played with M0nkey M00n at Team BDS, and they won the 2021 Fall Major. Extra won his first Major as a coach when Karmine Corp won in Paris.

Victor “Ferra” Francal, who had moved into a coaching supervision role, announced his departure from Karmine Corp on Oct. 25. He said his contract was ending and that he and the organization had agreed not to continue their partnership.

Vatira joined Karmine Corp in October 2022 after winning the 2022 Spring Major with Moist Esports. He won three more Majors with Karmine Corp: the 2023 Winter Major, Birmingham in 2025 and Paris in 2026. He was named MVP at the 2023 Winter Major and Paris Major. The Kick-Off Weekend title is a separate competition and is not counted as a fifth Major.

Atow joined Karmine Corp in December 2023 after reaching the 2023 World Championship semifinals with Team Liquid. He won the Birmingham and Paris Majors with the club, then won the inaugural RLCS 2v2 World Championship with Alexis “zen” Bernier in September. The 2v2 title is separate from the 3v3 World Championship, which Team Falcons won.

Juicy won the Copenhagen Major with Gentle Mates in 2024 and was named MVP. He joined Karmine Corp in October 2025 after dralii left for Team Falcons. Juicy later won Kick-Off Weekend and the Paris Major with Karmine Corp.

Vatira and Atow are expected to continue together at Gentle Mates alongside zen. Negotiations over their existing contracts were still unresolved in early October. Juicy has been linked with Geekay Esports, where he would reunite with former Gentle Mates teammate Seikoo and join mtzr. Both reported destinations remain unconfirmed.

Karmine Corp’s next scheduled international event is the RLCS Club Championship Kick-Off in London from Dec. 9-13. Twenty invited clubs and four qualified teams will compete before regional league results determine qualification for the 2027 Club Finale.
