HBO Max, Warner Play to Air Evo 2026 in Latin America

Warner Bros. Games and Evo will stream Evo Japan, Evo Las Vegas and Evo France on HBO Max and Warner Play in Latin America with Portuguese-language coverage.

Warner Bros. Games and the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) will broadcast the 2026 Evo circuit in Latin America on HBO Max and Warner Play with Portuguese-language coverage for three events: Evo Japan, Evo 2026 in Las Vegas and Evo France in Nice. Warner Play will mirror the HBO Max streams on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok and provide localized commentary and live analysis.

The partnership begins with Evo Japan 2026, scheduled for May 1–3 in Tokyo, and extends to the Las Vegas and Nice stops on the 2026 calendar. Live broadcasts will feature headline fighting-game titles including Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, The King of Fighters XV and Riot Games’ 2XKO, with Portuguese-language feeds available to subscribers across Latin America.

HBO Max’s inclusion of Evo expands the streamer’s live sports offerings in the region, where it holds premium football rights. Warner Bros. Games will place Fighting Game Community content alongside sports and entertainment programming on its regional platforms to reach a broader audience.

Evo recently appointed Rafael Queiroz, former general manager of Team Liquid Brazil, as Head of LATAM. The broadcast agreement is the first major regional media activation since his hire and is part of Evo’s regional strategy ahead of a wider global rollout planned for 2027.

Evo has said its 2027 expansion will include official flagship events in Brazil and Mexico and plans for a Fighting Game World Championship and larger prize pools. Organizers will release additional details about the expanded competitive calendar and commercial plans in the coming months.
