FUT finished last in Group A at BLAST Rivals after a 0-2 loss to Astralis. Coach András “coolio” Fercsák stood in for Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea, sidelined with a stomach ulcer.
FUT were eliminated from BLAST Rivals Group A after a 0-2 loss to Astralis in the Group A lower bracket. Coach András ‘coolio’ Fercsák served as an active stand-in for Laurențiu ‘lauNX’ Țârlea, who missed the event with a stomach ulcer.
Across five maps played against Vitality and Astralis at the event, FUT recorded a 33% opening kill rate on Terrorist sides.
Astralis won Mirage in the series. Rasmus ‘HooXi’ Nielsen posted a 1.79 rating on Mirage and finished the series 38-24 with 88.6 ADR and a 1.36 overall rating. Jakob ‘jabbi’ Nygaard went 33-26 with 86.5 ADR and a 1.32 rating, and Love ‘phzy’ Smidebrant finished 31-25 with 74.3 ADR and a 1.24 rating.
FUT were more competitive on Nuke, winning the second pistol round and building a 9-5 lead before failing to close the map. Aulon ‘Krabeni’ Fazlija led FUT with a 33-32 line, 88.3 ADR and a 1.14 rating. Džiugas ‘dziugss’ Steponavičius finished 23-28 with 65.1 ADR and a 0.96 rating. Dmytro ‘dem0n’ Myroshnychenko was 20-29 with 55.5 ADR and a 0.81 rating. András ‘coolio’ Fercsák recorded 23-30 with 59.1 ADR and a 0.80 rating, and Nikita ‘cmtry’ Samolotov was 23-33 with 55.5 ADR and a 0.76 rating.
Astralis advance to the quarter-finals and will face the loser of the Natus Vincere vs. GamerLegion match.
