FNCS 2026 peaks at 875K, fourth-highest Fortnite event

The FNCS 2026 Global Championship was held in Belgium and peaked at more than 875,000 viewers, ranking fourth among all Fortnite events and marking the second-highest peak within the FNCS series.

Egor SwizzY Luciko and Wilmer Pixie Juriander of HavoK by Vitality won the tournament and split a $400,000 first prize, $200,000 each. Champions were determined by total points across 12 matches. SwizzY was part of the trio that won the 2025 FNCS Global Championship. Pixie’s team finished second at that event. The two began competing together in late 2025.

The event used a new format from 2025: 50 duos from seven regions competed, replacing the previous 33-trio format.

Broadcasts generated more than 5.3 million Hours Watched, a 27.8% decline from the 2025 championship. Average Viewers fell 27.2% year over year and Peak Viewers declined 7.6%.

English-language streams accounted for about 52.4% of Hours Watched. French and Spanish streams each contributed roughly 9%.

Twitch produced around 67.2% of total Hours Watched and YouTube about 26.3%. Kick and TikTok Live made up the remaining share. Fortnite’s official Twitch and YouTube channels held near their previous numbers.

Unique broadcast channels fell from 770 in 2025 to 211 in 2026, a roughly 3.6-fold decrease. French-language viewership declined after the 2025 event in France, and Corentin Gotaga Houssein did not cover the 2026 matches.

By peak viewers the FNCS 2026 Global Championship trailed the FNCS 2025 championship and the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Finals, which reached more than 2.3 million viewers.
