ASUS Republic of Gamers appointed Wei Xu as Associate Director of Product Marketing in April 2026. Based in Shanghai, she will coordinate the brand’s portfolio of professional team and tournament sponsorships across multiple regions.
Xu will oversee activation and partnership management for ASUS ROG’s competitive programs. Her responsibilities include working with internal teams and external partners to deploy monitors, PCs and peripherals into tournament venues and team facilities, and to manage sponsorship deliverables and on-site hardware support.
Recent agreements that fall under the program include ASUS ROG’s role as the official monitor, PC and peripheral partner for the 2026 PGL season, including the Counter-Strike 2 PGL Singapore Major 2026. The company also established multi-year partnerships with Evil Geniuses and Cloud9 in North America, sponsored the LCK Finals in Hong Kong, renewed its partnership with BLAST, signed a global deal with DRX and reached an agreement with the National Association of Collegiate Esports.
Xu joins from Tencent Games, where she worked as Senior Esports Manager on large-scale competitive operations for Honor of Kings. Before that she spent more than three years as Latin America Esports Manager for MOONTON Games in Lima, Peru, where she helped set up regional infrastructure for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Xu will report into the product marketing organization and work with regional teams to localize activations and sponsorship deliverables. Her hiring is part of a broader recruitment push as ASUS ROG expands its presence within elite competitive gaming.
