16 teams set for Valorant Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris

The regional qualifiers for the VALORANT Esports World Cup 2026 have concluded, confirming the 16 teams that will compete in Paris from July 2 to July 12, 2026.
Organizers announced the field includes five directly invited teams and 11 teams that advanced through regional qualifying events. The directly invited teams are Team Heretics, Team Vitality, G2 Esports, Paper Rex and EDward Gaming. Teams that qualified through regional events are Gentle Mates, Karmine Corp, BBL Esports, MIBR, 100 Thieves, NRG, Rex Regum Qeon, Global Esports, NS RedForce, XLG Esports and AG.AL.
Ukrainian organization NAVI failed to qualify after losing 0–3 to BBL Esports in their final qualification match. Map scores were Pearl 7–13, Ascent 11–13 and Breeze 13–15, eliminating NAVI from contention for the Paris event.
The VALORANT Esports World Cup 2026 carries a $2 million prize pool and spans 11 days of competition. The tournament will bring the 16 qualified teams together in Paris to compete for the title.
Organizers of the Parken Challenger Championship tournament series have begun bankruptcy proceedings. Event officials have not announced any connection between those proceedings and the World Cup field.
