2026 VALORANT Champions bundle generated $50 million for teams
Riot Games reports that the 2026 VALORANT Champions “Frag or Die” bundle generated more than $50 million for VCT teams, while net sales topped $100 million in less than a month.
Riot Games has reported that the 2026 VALORANT Champions “Frag or Die” bundle generated more than $50 million for teams in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT). The amount represents half of the bundle’s net proceeds, which are sales revenue after certain costs are deducted. Total net sales exceeded $100 million in less than a month after the bundle’s release.
Riot and VCT teams split the bundle’s net proceeds equally under their revenue-sharing agreement. The bundle went on sale in VALORANT’s in-game store around Sept. 22-23, 2026, alongside a game update and shortly before the VALORANT Champions tournament.
The full collection costs 6,640 VALORANT Points, the game’s in-game currency. That equals about $65 to $70, depending on the buyer’s country and currency. The collection includes cosmetic items such as weapon skins, which change the appearance of weapons and characters without affecting gameplay.
Demand was particularly strong in China. The bundle reportedly generated about $20.7 million there during its first three hours of sales, with more than 300,000 full bundles sold for about 426 yuan, or roughly $63, each.
The teams’ share is distributed among about 48 VCT partner organisations rather than only the 16 teams that qualified for Champions 2026. Qualified teams receive twice as much as partner teams that did not qualify under Riot’s current distribution model.
From 2021 through 2023, the 50% team share from each Champions bundle went only to the 16 teams competing in that year’s Champions tournament. Riot changed the system in 2024 so that all VCT partner teams receive a portion, while teams that qualify for Champions retain the larger share.
